2011 HORNSEA SEAFRONT - THE START

Every year for the last seven Maghull Kickboxing and Martial Arts Academy and friends has undertaken mammoth challenges for worthwhile and needy causes.

On the 2nd to the 5th of June last year  we  undertook a 215 mile Bike ride from Hornsea by Hull to Southport just four days .35 guys took part (and one Parrot) Raising appromimately £40,000 for different charities, Including

£ 6,000 for Help for Hero's

£1,224 for Walking With Giants

£1,000 for Cancer Research

£ 1,400 for Nazareth House -Childrens Home in Crosby

£ 850 for Zoe's Place

£1,200 for McMillian Nurses

£ 500 for the Ryan Nolan wheelchair appeal 

and many more besides.

The year before we walked the 84 miles of Hadrian's wall in just three days all participants who took part last year were the first ones to sign up for the 2011 challenge, that says something !!!!!!!!  Everyone is welcome to take part

The Academy raises monies for numerous charities throughout the UK, including Cancer Research, Mac Millian nurses, Zoe's place and many others.

2012 Challenge

In 2012, we will be cycling and walking around the Isle of Man in June. Those that wish to walk will start of a couple of days earlier from the Pier Head by Ferry, the cyclists will follow a couple of days later. The Perimeter of the Isle of Man is 86.7 miles in length. Everyone is welcome to join our challenge and once again we will be supporting as many charities as possible.
