Norman Smith is a shy six year old boy, who dreams everyday about being a superhero, just
like the ones on TV. Then, one day it all changed when a leaflet dropped through the letterbox.
It was just another normal day and Norman Smith was bored. He gazed through his bedroom window, looking up and down the road as usual, hoping for something interesting to happen. It never did, so why should today be any different.
Norman’s dad, Graham, had just left for work and Emily, Norman’s sister, was helping mum in the kitchen. Norman heard the postman and as usual, ran down the stairs pretending to be a superhero. He dived to catch the letters before they hit the mat. ‘Got you!” he shouted.
Norman didn’t take much notice of letters, but a leaflet amongst today’s bundle caught his eye. “Someone is looking for ‘Little Ninjas!” he exclaimed! “Wow! This could be my chance to be a superhero”.
